Nothing says ‘Happiest Day of My Life’ like roasted marshmallows, cookies and a Dark and Stormy!
Sophie and Phil’s wedding menu commission was a tasty treat of a project; a three-sided Table Talker menu design, the couple’s portraits on the place settings (which got a little makeover from the guests!) and an illustration for the S’more Station.
The brief? Make it fun! Sophie and Phil’s top priority for their big day at Upwaltham Barns was to make sure everyone was having a great time with great food and a full glass.
My job was to bring their food and drink menus to life with my bright and playful illustrations and handwriting to capture the fun, cosy and laid back vibe. I really enjoyed getting creative with pairing type and illustrations in this brief, as well as keeping things vibrant and friendly in an otherwise traditional or formal setting.
