What better way to spend the day off together than going for mega food good times?
Martin and I checked out the new West Quay Watermark extension in town (oh my days, so many food adventures to come) and we wanted to check out the new thai restaurant Thaikhun.
We were welcomed by super friendly staff and after admiring the menu and our surroundings, we ordered steamed vegetable and tofu dumplings to share, and pad thai for mains (tofu for me, chicken for Marts).
It was bloody lovely and very generous with the veg, perfect portion size for a big lunch. Next time we're gonna go for a pinto box to share, and since they gave us a few vouchers for our January visit perhaps we'll try more of their starters (the sweetcorn cakes intrigued me...)
One new restaurant down, many more to go!
