It’s been a while since I last visited Cabana in Southampton for a cocktail making evening (you can check it out on one of my first videos on my YouTube channel here!), so I was excited to be invited back to sample their street food inspired menu and cocktail list!
Cabana Brasil is big, bright and colourful and is one of the more livelier eateries in West Quay Watermark. Drawing inspiration from Brazil's street food culture, everything from the furnishings to the flavours are as vibrant as the restaurant's aesthetic and atmosphere.
There's have a big bar in the middle of the restaurant where they made my two cocktails of choice; the frozen margarita with a rim of sprinkles, and their take on the classic Negroni. Both were delicious and matched my new Collectif shirt perfectly!
There’s loads to choose from their menu; from favourites such as burgers and salads, to their signature grills and skillets. I opted for a halloumi starter, a curried coconut and cauliflower wrap (which was full of flavour and had a nice crunch) and to top off the evening, churros with cinnamon and a caramel dip. They were absolutely delicious and I can't stop thinking about them! You can check out the full menu here.
How do I rate Cabana? It’s a restaurant with good vibes, hearty meals to suit everyone’s tastes and home to a very tasty cocktail list. There are big pot meals like their curry, and also light meals like my wrap. There are vegan and gluten free options too, and if you just fancy drinks and nibbles, there’s a section near the bar that’s more casual than the seated sections.
I’d definitely recommend Cabana as a great spot to grab lunch while you’re in town, or for a laidback dinner with your mates. There’s plenty of food to choose from and it's worth the visit just to try their cocktails! I’ll be back for a boozey lunch for sure, I need another one of those frozen sprinkle margaritas!
Many thanks to the Southampton Bloggers and Cabana Southampton for my complimentary visit
